This is marvelous. Well spotted. You nailed the DOF. Right on chap. I would have prefered to see the bottom soldier a bit more in focus, or at least on top of the spam. That way I'd know he's breathing at least. Cheers. -T

Wow... this is Normandy all over again it appears. A lot more to this photo than meets the eye I suspect. Interesting concept.

Thanks for the comments thus far. This is actually an old photograph I had stored away in my archives. I immediately thought of it when I read the topic. I took it a few years ago when I was going through my "artsy" period. It was part of a set of some strange photographs I felt the need to take. Interestingly, the feelings I was having when I took this still seem to apply.
